The action video game "Attack On Titan 2" which is based on the second season of the anime series is set for release next year. With the release date drawing near, game developer Koei Tecmo drops more details concerning the game.

Moreover, a new gameplay video was released for the gamers to have a sneak peek of its new features. For instance, the Buddy Action feature makes the game more enjoyable to play. This allows players to get some support or some help while playing the game. Also, the element enables the players even to rescue one of their team member in dire need. Under this new feature, players can use the different options such as Rescue, Recovery (if short in health), and Titan Transformation.

Players can also use new moves like the hook drives to do a series of jumps and evade attacks. The sneak attacks allow players to hit a Titan. If the Titan is unaware of an attack, the sneak attack feature is the best move to make.  Also, gamers can access flash grenades to incapacitate a Titan as well as use the restraining guns to hold back the human-eating giants.

Koei Tecmo also revealed that the Scouts could replenish their gas, blades and other supplies at the base. Automated artillery towers that serve as a haven from Titan attacks are added as well.

Other features of the game include Base Construction. This feature will allow the gamers to build a battery sector and gather other goods on the battlefield. Regarding capturing Titans, players could use the net and the Surprise Attack to throw additional damages to the giants.

The game will also have new playable characters in addition to Eren Jeager, Mikasa Ackerman, Armin Arlert, Jean Kirstein, and Sasha Blouse. Besides the new characters, old characters are set to return such as Connie Springer, Krista Lenz, Levi Ackerman, Hange Zoe, and Erwin Smith. On top of that, new characters that will join the team includes Rico Brzenska, Mitabi Jarnach, Ian Dietrich and Hannes.

"Attack On Titan 2" arrives in 2018 for Xbox One, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch and PC.
