A new audio bible featuring a star-studded cast from voices of over 200 actors including Samuel L. Jackson (God), Angela Bassett (Esther), Denzel Washington (Solomon), Cuba Gooding Jr. (Judas) has been nominated for an NAACP award, a civil rights award in the United States of America.

It follows a wave of new audio bible releases, including, the "Talking Bible", thousands of which have been sent to Africa, and a recent "GoBible", emulating the recent successes of Apple's iPod with a new device that can search through over 70 hours of bible audio on a single pre-loaded chip.
