Fans of Tony Stark (Robert Downey Jr.) a.k.a. Iron Man should steel themselves in the upcoming "Avengers: Infinity War," as the de facto leader of the Avengers may actually kick the bucket this time.

A new photo of the production set of "Avengers: Infinity War" shows a worried Stark looking at the destruction Thanos has caused. This is one of the moments in the franchise where Stark is shown truly troubled at what he is seeing. Apparently, the character will be having the most problems in the upcoming movie, not only with Thanos but also old friends/enemies.

Despite the ultimate threat that they are facing, Stark will still be duking it out with Steve Rogers (Chris Evans) a.k.a. Captain America in what seems to be the final fight between the two. It can be recalled that the two initially fought and nearly killed each other due to the events during "Captain America: Civil War."

"That's the hardest for me because I look at Evans and I just to want to go over and smell him or tell him he looks cool in those sunglasses when he's walking over to have lunch. And then I'm just staring daggers at him, getting mad. But even that relationship is going to take a turn," said Downey Jr. in an interview with USA Today.

It is not yet certain what in the movie will make the two fight each other again. For all fans know, it may well be just residual bad blood between them. As for Stark's fate, it does not look good since not all of the members of the Avengers, Guardians of the Galaxy or Captain America's team are expected to survive Thanos' onslaught. Stark, however, is on the top of the list of superheroes expected or rumored to die.

This was made even more believable by the fact that "Iron Man 4" has not been announced, well as Downey Jr.'s repeated opinion of wanting to quit while ahead or making an exit in the franchise. Whether or not he will really die in "Avengers: Infinity War" will be seen once the movie gets released on Apr. 25.
