"Bachelor in Paradise" season 2 began its two-night premiere on Aug. 2. Single men and women from previous "The Bachelor" and "The Bachelorette" seasons will gather in Playa Escondida in their second bid at finding romance.

Apart from the traditional cocktail party, the new season will kick off with the wedding of Marcus Grodd and Lacy Faddoul, whose love connection blossomed in the first season of the series. Host Chris Harrison believes that more couples will follow Marcus and Lacy's footsteps.

"Overall, I'm very confident that the concept works," Harrison said as quoted by Hollywood Take. "You have just many more opportunities. And, within that, you have people arriving, people leaving. So again, it's just a better chance and a better opportunity."

There will be 15 contestants for "Bachelor in Paradise" season 2. Most of the ladies and gentlemen who will be there to party while looking for love once more come from Chris Soules' and Kaitlyn Bristowe's very recent respective seasons, said the tipster.

Joining in from Chris' season are Carly Waddell, Ashley Salter, Ashley Iaconetti, Jade Roper, Jillian Anderson and Juelia Kinney. The returning bachelors from the recently concluded "The Bachelorette" season include JJ Lane, Jared Haibon, Tanner Tolbert and Jonathan Holloway.

Just like the first season, "Bachelor in Paradise" season 2 will kick off with the arrival of the 16th contestant on the second night, this time in the person of Clare Crawley. She was in Juan Pablo's season and she also appeared in the first season of "Bachelor in Paradise."

Reality Steve also said that on the first day, there will be a dehydration and heat exhaustion problem and there will be an ambulance involved.
