"Banshee" is just two episodes away from calling it a season and what an epic season 3 it has been. The show had surprises left and right in each episode and it looks like the surprises will keep on coming until the season ends. 

In the previous episode, Brock and Hood went to New Orleans to hunt down Chayton Littlestone. As for Kai, he and Emily were abducted because of Rebecca's shady drug deal. It was also seen that Colonel Douglas Stowe already knows that Carrie is part of the team that stole his money and he is out for vengeance. 

Episode 9 is titled "Even God Doesn't Know What to Make of You" and the official synopsis goes: 

"Lucas will recall the history of his friendship with Job, while pondering the future, if there indeed will be one. Proctor and Emily are going to pay the price for Rebecca's recklessness. Carrie and Gordon will pick up the pieces of their shattered relationship. Stowe and Leo will land a big fish. Bunker is going to reconnect with his skinhead past. Deva will get a lesson about crime and punishment."

This is a rare occasion that the synopsis doesn't exactly translate to what the preview is showing. In the preview, Colonel Stowe has taken Job and Carrie hostage with Lucas trying to rescue them. Now that Chayton is out of the picture, it is time for Lucas to focus on his next villain. Will this be Stowe's last episode? 

Also in the preview, Kai is seen being tortured by Frazier and his gang. But at the end, Kai is seen alive and walking tall after setting something on fire. What will happen next between him and his niece Rebecca? Will Emily die in this episode, too? 

"Banshee" season 3 episode 9 will air at 9 p.m. on Friday, March 6, on Cinemax.
