"Batman: Arkham Knight" will have a Game of the Year edition, which will be released by July 28 for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One consoles.

According to Yibada, the release of this edition was previously just a rumor, but Amazon Germany's website posted details about the game, specifically it's price, box art, and launch date. The price is around 50 Euros, equivalent to roughly $56.

Furthermore, the "Batman: Arkham Knight" Game of the Year edition is expected to feature all of its DLC packs launched last year, much to the fans' delight. These include Batmobile skins, character skins, additional unlockable characters and new AR challenges. It even features some of the side-story DLC episodes from the original game. Notable examples for the side stories include the "Harley Quinn" story, "Red Hood" story, "A Matter of Family" which features Batgirl, "Catwoman's Revenge" and many more.

Additionally, "Season of Infamy" will be included as an expansion pack. This will unlock more missions within "Gotham's Most Wanted" with villains such as Mr. Freeze, Mad Hatter, the Killer Croc and Ra's Al Ghul facing off with the Dark Knight. This could prove to be very interesting since the Game of the Year edition also has the costumes and batmobiles from various Batman films and TV series such as those from "The Dark Knight Trilogy" by Christopher Nolan and Ben Affleck's costume and batmobile from "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice."

However, PC users are disappointed that the Game of the Year edition for the "Batman: Arkham Knight" will not be released for the PC. The reason for this is the in-game frame rate issues, glitches as well as other known performance issues for the PC version of the game. Regardless of this, fans of the game will be delighted to know that more "Batman: Arkham" games will be revealed by next month.
