'Batman: Arkham Knight': Plot spoilers revealed in limited edition statue

"Batman: Arkham Knight," the highly anticipated action adventure video game that is being readied by developer Rocksteady Studios, to be published by Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment, will cater not only to gamers but also to collectors by including a limited edition figurine of the Caped Crusader donning his futuristic suit.

Collectors or gamers can pre-order the limited edition game bundle for a price of £79.99 from Amazon. The bundle will include a SteelBook case, in-game costumes, an art book, a comic book and, of course, the limited edition statue.

However, some details of the limited edition statue has ended up flooding the Internet, leading to contemplation by critics and fans alike regarding the ending of "Batman: Arkham Knight."

The details were outlined by VideoGamer, who was able to spot what was originally engraved on the plaque present on the statue.  It stated, "From a Grateful City In Memory of the Gotham Knight." Amazon has taken down the image with that inscription and instead replaced it with one that has a prominent "Gotham Knight" label etched on the tablet along with the Batman insignia towering above it. Amazon's description of the statue states: "An imposing Batman memorial statue commemorating Gotham's protector, the Dark Knight."

Since Amazon has removed the original image, there is sufficient evidence suggesting that the Dark Knight will meet his demise, most likely after defeating the primary antagonists of the game: the mysterious Arkham Knight, who wears a body armor which is technologically more sophisticated compared to Batman's, along with Jonathan Crane, who is more commonly known as the Scarecrow.

"Batman: Arkham Knight" is expected to be released globally on June 2. The title was supposed to be released in 2014, but Rocksteady studios delayed it in order to further debug the game. Kevin Conroy will reprise his role as Batman, and the title will have numerous gameplay elements and mechanics added to the original content, in order to prevent unnecessary repetition that might lead to negative reviews in the future.
