The first official trailer for "Batman: The Telltale Games Series" was released during this year's San Diego Comic Con and along with it came the confirmation that the game is set to launch its first episode by this August.

The game will be available for the PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, Xbox One, Windows PC, Mac, iOS and Android. This will be similar to the multi-platform release of the developer's other adventure game, "The Walking Dead."

However, a report from Polygon clears out that the August release is only for the digital version of the game. A physical retail copy is not going to come out until Sept. 13. It is undetermined at this point if the physical retail will come with special bonuses.

"Batman: The Telltale Games Series" takes on a different approach in giving the full Bruce Wayne and Batman experience. Players will get a different set of missions when they choose to play as Bruce Wayne during the day and when players choose Batman missions during the night.

Episode One is officially titled "Realm of Shadows" and it will see Bruce Wayne investing the infamous mob head Carmine Falcone. The trailer also indicates that Falcone may be financing the city's new district attorney, Harvey Dent.

A few clips from the trailer reveal that the GCPD have attempted to bring Falcone down before but nothing ever worked given how he already owns most of the judges. Fans speculate the episode might end with Harvey getting into an accident, turning into the villain known as Two-Face.

Alfred Pennyworth, Bruce's only companion, foster father and butler, is also shown giving advice to Bruce, telling him that he must not forget to be human and that he can be both Batman and Bruce. This mirrors the difficulty Bruce experiences in the comics regarding his double-life.

The game sees Troy Baker voicing Bruce Wayne aka Batman, Laura Bailey as Selina Kyle, Enn Reitel as Alfred Pennyworth, Travis Willingham as harvey Dent aka Two-Face and Murphy Guyer as Lt. James Gordon.
