'Batman v Superman' movie set blocked by hedges, Ben Affleck 'confident' about the franchise

"Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice" starring Ben Affleck and Henry Cavill is still deep in production in Detroit, Michigan at the moment, and the clash between the Caped Crusader and the Man of Steel is still two years away. Nonetheless, fans are already excited, and they'd do just about anything to catch glimpses of the movie this early.

However, the production team seems to be striving to keep it all a surprise. Photos posted in the Michigan State University Student Book Store twitter account (@sbsmsu) last Oct. 2 show that the set is barricaded with large green hedges.

The production team has yet to give comments, but the Batman actor himself Ben Affleck told Boston Globe how excited he is about thrilled fans waiting for the upcoming movie.

"I can tell you that I'm very excited and it's very exciting," said the Bruce Wayne actor. "I can tell you that in my entire career, I haven't had so many people come up to me and say how much they're looking forward to the movie. Naturally, that's a lot of pressure, but I love the script, I love the director, I love the studio. I'm very much looking forward to it, but it's two years away so it probably doesn't bear talking about anymore."

Affleck stopped by talk shows to drop a detail or two about the film. The Batman actor told MTV that the movie is very much influenced by the Dark Knight trilogy by Christopher Nolan, and added that this 'seminal work' is 'so good' and it is only smart to 'steal from the best.'

The second installment in the franchise also includes Amy Adams, Diane Lane, Jesse Eisenberg, Gal Gadot, Lawrence Fishburne, and a whole lot of artists trusted to bring the icons back to life.

"Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice" is directed by Zack Snyder and is set to be released on March 25, 2016.
