The highly anticipated DC Comics film "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice" is slated to be shown more than a year from now, but the never-ending trailer rumors continue to surface online.

On Sunday, the IB Times UK posted a report claiming that the first trailer of "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice" will be presented by Warner Bros during this year's WonderCon in Anaheim, California. According to the report, the film outfit will launch the much awaited first look at Ben Affleck's Batman and Henry Cavill's reprisal of his role as Superman on April 4. This could be an ideal venue for the launching of the trailer, since WonderCon is known as a yearly convention for comic book, science fiction, and movie enthusiasts.

On the other hand, Master Herald reported that the trailer could either be released on May 15 during the premiere of "Mad Max: Fury Road" or during the July schedule of the San Diego Comic Con this year.

However, there are no official confirmations yet from the studio execs or DC Comics heads if any of these rumored release dates are true.

Meanwhile, actor Jason Momoa talked about the participation of his character Aquaman in the "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice" movie. According to the "Game of Thrones" star, Aquaman will be introduced in the DC Comics universe through the "Batman v Superman" movie, then he will reprise his role in several other films produced by Warner Bros. like "Justice League" in 2017 and a standalone "Aquaman" movie in 2018.

"Zack [Snyder], he had me at hello. Literally, when he told me what he wanted to do with the character and what he wanted to do with the world. There's no script written yet for certain things, but I listened to his ideas, trust him," Momoa shared with USA Today after he first talked with the director.

The actor also mentioned that he is very excited to portray a character that he can actually let his sons, aged 7 and 6, see on the big screen.

"I'm known for playing rough characters. They're not really allowed to see those things. So I mean it's going to be exciting just for my kids to see papa play with Batman and Wonder Woman and Superman. So it's really cool that my kids can do that," he said.

"Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice" is slated to be released on March 25, 2016.
