Vincent (Jay Ryan) will find himself teaming up with an unlikely ally in the upcoming episode of CW's hit series "Beauty and the Beast" season 3.

In "Unbreakable," Cartermatt reports that to preserve his identity, Vincent will agree to help Liam (Jason Gedrick) retrieve the evidence that could reveal them for who they are. Apparently, there are still people determined to expose beasts to the world, and the villain is only one of the few who can stop it.

Meanwhile, Cat (Kristin Kreuk) doubts the alliance, knowing personally how evil Liam can become. She will acknowledge, though, that she and Vince need him for the mission. Later, she will find something about Liam's family that will rattle her. She must tell Vincent what she has discovered before it's too late.

Last episode, the couple was bent on tracking down Julianna's (Gloria Votsis) killer. While looking for clues on his lair, they stumbled upon information about a certain Patient X. Liam had been rigging bombs to blow up others who had been injected by the serum, one of them was a boy named Russell.

Cat thought he was Patient X, but it was clear he was not supernatural. Liam, however, tried to kill him. He was saved by Vincent when the former detected a bomb in his room. While Cat was watching over the boy, however, he managed to overpower her and took her gun. He wanted to find to Liam and kill him before the villain could get to him first.

Elsewhere, JT (Austin Basis) was hiding as he was not entirely serum-free and Tess (Nina Lisandrello) was there to help. When Liam finally tracked down Russell, the boy fought with him, giving the two the chance to get away. Liam killed him and then went after the two.

When he was about to attack them, Vincent tackled him and they both went into beast mode. Cat was able to shoot Liam and the latter ended up fleeing. Meanwhile, JT was showing signs of dying just like Russell before, as his nose started to bleed.

"Beauty and the Beast" airs Thursday at 8 p.m. EST on CW.
