Now that Selena Gomez is out of the picture, former flames Bella Hadid and The Weeknd are rumored to be still "totally in love" with each other.

According to a source, the exes are still into each other, and they are still communicating. "Bella really missed him. She's happy with where things are and he is too. They are still totally in love," the insider claimed.

They have kept their communication open as well, with The Weeknd, whose real name is Abel Makkonen Tesfaye, and the Victoria's Secret angel using FaceTime and texting "pretty consistently." In November, the "Starboy" singer was seen leaving the model's apartment in New York.

A source claimed that the two were still into each other at the time and that the visit was for The Weeknd and Hadid to talk about what had happened to them. The insider also said that although the latter still had feelings for him, she was still on her guard as the singer was casually seen with a lot of women, and prior to this sighting, the "Can't Feel My Face" singer was seen with model Yovanna Ventura.

"Abel reached out to Bella asking to hang out and catch up, and she decided to see him and see where things go. She knows that if they don't date again, they can at least be good friends," the source explained.

The two met in April 2015 when The Weeknd made Hadid the muse for the artwork of his album "Beauty Behind the Madness." After this, they dated for 18 months.

After their split, The Weeknd dated the "Wolves" singer Gomez in January and seemingly made the announcement when they appeared at the Met Gala in May, just when the public had seen them smooching. After 10 months, Gomez and The Weeknd called it quits.
