AMC released the first few images for "Better Call Saul" season 2 a few months back and now an official teaser trailer from Netflix has been released. The trailer mostly focuses on Bob Odenkirk's Jimmy McGill aka Saul as he continues down the path to become the criminal world lawyer audiences met in "Breaking Bad."

However, the majority of the teaser uses footage from the first season with very few sneak peeks at the actual second season, perhaps as a method of building suspense for what's to come.

Along with the short trailer, Netflix and AMC have also announced the release format for the season. According to a report from NME, "Better Call Saul" season 2 will officially premiere on Feb. 15 on AMC and will then be available on Netflix the very next day, Feb. 16 2016.

Unlike other Netflix shows, not all the episodes of "Better Call Saul" will immediately be available on Netflix for streaming. Instead, they will be released on a weekly basis and will only become available after the episodes premiere on AMC first.

"Better Call Saul" season 2 has also been cut short a little bit, with just 10 episodes opposite season 1's 13. This doesn't equate to a lower-quality season, however, as the report quotes co-creator Peter Gould, who confirmed the second season, will be filled with "10 big, big episodes."

The first season was nominated for six Emmy Awards and has been rated as one of the most critically acclaimed series for both critics and fans. Season 2 will see the return of main stars Odenkirk and Jonathan Banks as Saul and Mike Ehrmantraut respectively.

As previously reported, the second season won't be bringing back Bryan Cranston as Walter White or Aaron Paul as Jesse Pinkman, although they may eventually cameo in the series later on, most probably during a later season when the story of "Better Call Saul" overlaps with that of "Breaking Bad."
