The long wait for the freshest episodes of "Better Call Saul" will soon be over as the start of the spin-off series' sophomore season will start in February.

AMC recently dropped the latest key art for the Emmy-nominated prequel to the legendary "Breaking Bad" series.

Based on the key art, Bob Odenkirk's character Jimmy McGill, who went by the name Saul Goodman in "Breaking Bad," will face an uphill battle during the show's second season. This proves that the scam artist-turned-lawyer will have to deal with the continuous inner battle between his morals and his drive to become a successful lawyer.

During the first season, McGill stumbled upon a massive class-action lawsuit that paved the way for him to get a promising job opportunity at a large law firm. But the small-time lawyer contemplated taking the straight path by accepting the corporate offer or returning to his con ways for bigger money.

In an interview with Digital Spy, Odenkirk revealed several plans for the second season of "Better Call Saul."

"In the end, Breaking Bad ended up being a deep exploration of a character — Walter White," Odenkirk shared. "And 'Better Call Saul' is going in that same direction of being about a character mutating and discovering who he is on a deeper level. I can't believe how many people watched us without prejudice and gave us a chance to create a new scenario in an admittedly very slow way, and let us sort of feel it out."

The actor confirmed that the second season of "Better Call Saul" will pack on more drama upon its release.

"I hope we find out that Jimmy-slash-Saul is a good guy. I know when he starts, we can feel a lot of empathy for him. But in the case of 'Breaking Bad,' what we found out was Walter White was not a good guy."
