'Better Call Saul' Season 3 spoilers, air date: Fring's return not yet a done deal, Kim Wexler to go dark

"Better Call Saul" season 3 will delve into Jimmy and Kim's relationship.AMC

After fans of the Breaking Bad spinoff show Better Call Saul figured out the easter egg laid out by the show's writers in the titles for the Season 2 episodes in record time, supporters of the AMC show are already anticipating the arrival of one of Breaking Bad's biggest villains to the show for Season 3.

The Easter Egg in question was found in the first letters of the episode titles. When rearranged, they form the message "Fring's Back."

It was also implied that Fring was somehow involved in the lives of Jimmy McGill and Mike Ehrmentraut in Season 2, which is only bound to get better with the upcoming season.

However, showrunners Peter Gould and Vince Gilligan warned fans not to get their hopes up too high because of the nature of the character of Gus Fring, aside from the busy schedule of Giancarlo Esposito, who played the role in Breaking Bad.

"He's a very much in demand actor and it stands to reason he's much sought after because he's so wonderful. I just saw his name, he's in the giant hit movie "The Jungle Book." He's busy and always planning to be busier, so that was maybe one of the dumbest things we ever did," Gilligan said to Variety.

Meanwhile, it has been reported that Kim Wexler would also start her evolution to tread the darker side.

"Good and bad is not the same as legal and illegal all the time. Unfortunately, they don't always line up that way. All the characters are just sort of struggling with dealing with the fact that life just isn't black and white," Rhea Seehorn, who plays the character, explained to Deadline.

"There's a lot of leeway with where they could go. I can only presume that it's also on the table for them to do scenes that happen during Breaking Bad years in some fashion," she added.
