Bill Johnson and Mark Stibbe to bring healing to Bristol

Bill Johnson and Mark Stibbe are set to bring healing to Bristol at the Release 2010 healing conference this May.

The LoveBristol Community is hosting Release2010 ishosted from 19 to 21 May 2010 at The Colston Hall in Bristol.

LoveBristol said it was aiming to "gain momentum on the already growing healing movement across our culture and beyond".

In addition to the teaching, there will be breakout sessions and opportunities to try healing on the streets.

The conference will end on a high note in true 'Kingdom Culture' style with a late night worship party on the last evening.

The LoveBristol Community is a small community of passionate followers who are committed to being a part of the movement of God in healing sickness, hearts, families, communities, cities and nations.

"If we are to see a healing revolution grip the United Kingdom we know that it's going to take everyone in the body of Christ to fulfil their part," the group said.

The May conference will merge the streams of Bethel Church and The Father House Trust, along with representatives from Teen Challenge, 24-7 prayer, prophetic voices, edgy street ministries and local pastors to release God's healing power.

The dream of this conference comes from many sources, and we feel it's on God’s heart too. Here we have a bit of a story to tell and it involves The Wesleys and the year 1771.

One of our leaders had a dream in which she inherited Bristol as a ‘House’ for many to live and thrive in. As part of this dream, she encountered a secret wine cellar and picked out a dusty bottle of red wine with the label reading 1771.

Some creative Googling later, the community found out that in 1771 the most significant Methodist conference was held in Bristol by Wesley and Whitfield, where a young man by the name of Francis Asbury came and got so impacted that he signed up to take this move of God to America. Asbury founded the Methodist movement that spread across the United States.

1771 is also the first date recorded in Methodist church history of a formal recognition of the baptism in the spirit, and the pursuit of a lifestyle of hosting God’s presence and seeking the miraculous.

Tickets are £75 General Admission for the 3 days. Student Concession tickets available for £60. All tickets include attendance to all main sessions and your choice of breakout sessions, as well as free coffee and tea throughout the day, your delegate pack, and of course the 'Worship Party'!
