Black Friday 2017 tech deals: PS4 and Xbox One best bargains

The annual Black Friday event is happening once again and just like clockwork, there will be plenty of amazing tech deals that will be offered to millions of Americans.

There are many deals to be had that are platform-specific. Gaming consoles are a big draw during this yearly event. Needless to say, here are some of the best bargains to consider when braving through the shopping malls. The Sony PlayStation 4 (PS4) has a ton of deals this year including its $200 price getting slashed to just $100. However, on Black Friday, there will be some bonuses that will be attached to it. The PS4 Pro will drop to just $350, the DualShock 4 controllers will be only $40, and the PlayStation VR (PSVR) will go to as low as $200.

Alternatively, the PSVR can be bought for just $300 in a bundle with a new game and camera. The biggest games are also on sale, namely "Call of Duty: WWII" for $40, "Assassin's Creed Origins" for $35, and "Uncharted: The Lost Legacy" for $20.

Xbox One comes full force with its variety of deals on its games and accessories. The console can be bought for as low as $190 with some added perks. Those with higher prices include more bundles and free games. Xbox One controllers will drop to just $40. New subscribers of Xbox Live Gold and Xbox Game Pass can get a month for just $1.

Xbox One games will slash prices as well. "Forza Motorsport" plunges to $29 while "Gears of War 4" can be acquired for just $15. The popular "Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus" will descend to just $25.

In related news, when shopping on Black Friday, be wary of "doorbusters" which are items designed to lure people into the stores. A $35 item with $10 knocked off the price is an example. Early birds are able to get these items, so be smart about these techniques.
