'Bloodborne' datamine news: Unused beasts, bosses, and scholars found in game's code

It has been nearly two years and a half since "Bloodborne" was released exclusively for the PlayStation (PS) 4. However, there apparently is more game content that players have not been able to access, as the new data mine suggests.

Popular YouTuber "Sanadsk" has found some interesting codes in "Battleborne." While others may be skeptical of his findings and that he probably made them up just to gain viewers, he has previously made other confirmed discoveries. He first became popular for unearthing hidden content and lore in the different "Souls" series.

With his new data mine on the game, he has found several unused monsters that are possibly bosses. There was even an NPC which was likely scrapped since he was nowhere to be found in the game. Some of the photos that Sanadsk showed resembled monsters that already look like the ones that appear in the game. They were possibly the first variations of these monsters before their final versions in the game.

There also seems to be a boss that is unused, and Sanadsk features it in his video. It looks like a furry two-legged animal with two heads, black wings, and a hammer-looking weapon. Its insides seem to be made out of lava.

Interestingly, some gamers think that there may be a chance that this boss is not actually unused content. It may just be hidden somewhere in a dungeon and must be triggered by something. That reasoning stems from how gamers have recently found out about an undiscovered new boss just a few weeks ago.

Back when "Bloodborne" was still releasing early footage for the Chalice Dungeons, some of the videos would feature a giant with a flaming sword. Gamers have not found this when the game came out and only found it deep in the dungeon. Players can use the "pa6ssc6u" glyph to try the boss out themselves.
