The gambling problem will not be ceasing in the upcoming episode of "Bones" season 10. Dr. Brennan (Emily Deschanel) will have to face the troubles brought by her husband Seeley Booth's (David Boreanaz) possible relapse to his former gambling addiction as they investigate a case in an underground casino. 

The official synopsis for the episode says:

A high-stakes gambler's remains are discovered in an industrial shredder, but Booth's history of addiction comes into play when he and Brennan investigate the world of underground poker. Meanwhile, Hodgins invents a lab-related product; and Brennan and Booth get some exciting family news." 

It would be hard for Booth to overcome the temptation of his former addiction, and he could be lying about his relapse from his wife. Since Brennan is pregnant with their second child, the gambling problems could spark a big problem in their marriage. 

Meanwhile, the future of the show is still on the line, as FOX still has not made any announcement regarding the show's renewal for an 11th season. Several reports claim that the series producers are in negotiations for the continuation of the show, but nothing has been finalized at the moment. 

Some speculations about the cancellation, on the other hand, became widespread when Boreanaz posted an apparent goodbye note on his Twitter account, saying, "Wanna thank the cast and crew of @BONESonFOX it was a great season. Family for 10 Seasons. Will always hold onto the memories. #Thanks." 

But FOX and the "Bones" producers refuse to comment about the rumors. 

However, Bones executive producer Stephen Nathan told TV Lines their plans to end the show if the contract negotiations with the cast fail to make a season 11. 

According to Nathan, "It was a bit of fancy footwork, because we had to write a finale that was both a season and series finale from which we could return. I don't know if you could say it's a cliffhanger, but there's a cliff. There's an emotional cliff, and a big bad from the past resurfaces in a way that is surprising." 

"Bones" season 10 episode 15 airs April 23.
