The young ninjas of Konoha are about to embark on a new journey in "Boruto: Naruto Next Generations" episode 36. The spin-off anime series will feature the same elements of the original "Naruto" storyline, especially when the Seventh Hokage was about the same age as his son. The upcoming episode will see the skills of the aspiring ninjas being put to test by no other than the Sixth Hokage himself, Kakashi.

"Boruto: Naruto Next Generations" episode 36 will offer a short trip down the memory lane for the fans of the first "Naruto" series. This is because of the challenge that Boruto and his classmates will have to go through, the infamous "Bell-Steal" type battle developed by Kakashi.

"Graduation exam finally begins. After finishing the first obstacle — the written test, Boruto moves on to the practical exam. and that exam was.... the 6th Hokage, Kakashi's three-man team 'Bell-Steal' type battle, against the academy teachers!" the episode 36 synopsis reveals.

To note, this was the same challenge that the Sixth Hokage gave to his students — Naruto, Sasuke and Sakura — when they were still students in the Leaf Village's ninja academy. This time around, the "Bell-Steal" battle will now measure the capacity of the young generation to become a real ninja. For Boruto, this will be his first step to prove to his father than he can achieve a great feat on his own.

In the previous episode, Kakashi was revealed to be hiding under the guise of Sukea, a freelance reporter who wanted to know the background of the graduating students. It appears that the Sixth Hokage wants to know more about the young ninjas that will go under his test in "Boruto: Naruto Next Generations" episode 36. The highlight of the last episode was Sukea, or Kakashi, convincing Naruto's son to find his own dream after graduation, and not just to prove anything else to his father.

"Boruto: Naruto Next Generations" episode 36 will air on Wednesday, Dec. 6, on Tokyo TV.
