For those in the United States who are eagerly awaiting the showing of the "Boruto: Naruto the Movie," well, there is a minor setback.

Actually, the announcement is that there has been a slight delay in as far as the release date of the movie is concerned, but only by three days. Right now there is no official word on why the release date was pushed back, although the fact remains that the movie's launch date will now be Oct.10 instead of Oct. 7 as originally scheduled. 

With the slight push in the movie's premiere date, folks can still try to get tickets online. Eleven Arts announced via their Facebook page that tickets for the Naruto movie can be done through the official website.

This should make it fairly easier for folks to secure their tickets, regardless which city they may be in. 

"Boruto: Naruto the Movie" has proven to be a box office success back in Japan, reportedly racking in $5.46 million in only three days. The movie officially debuted last Aug. 7.

It remains to be seen if it will also fare well in North America, especially with word that pirated copies of "Boruto: Naruto the Movie" have already started spreading over the Internet.

Regardless, there is still belief that some would want to see it on the big screen, although the numbers might not be similar to what it had from the Japan debut.

And while fans anticipate the upcoming film, word has it that a live-action rendition of the film is also in the works.

According to Variety, Lions Gate Entertainment has already recruited Michael Gracey in order to help out in the production of the alleged live-action adaptation version. Gracey is a former visual effects specialist, and he has signed on with Avi Arad and Ari Arad.

Lionsgate is reportedly still under negotiations with the production, although all of it, as far as the live-action adaptation is concerned, have yet to be confirmed.
