Bruce Jenner sex change journey to be featured on 'Keeping Up With the Kardashians'

After former Olympic gold medalist Bruce Jenner admitted late last month during his one-on-one interview with Diane Sawyer's "20/20" show that he is a transgender, E! News confirmed that his difficult transition journey to become a woman will be featured in a two-part "Keeping Up With the Kardashians" special set to air this month. 

According to E!, Bruce, his ex-wife Kris Jenner, their daughters Kendall and Kylie, as well as the rest of his Kardashian stepchildren Kourtney,Kim, Khloe, along with Kourtney's long-time partner Scott Disick, will be featured in the special episode of the hit reality show titled "Keeping Up With the Kardashians: About Bruce." 

The episodes will reportedly feature Bruce's conversations with the members of the famous reality show family when he discussed his decision to make the transition. It will also showcase how each one of them took the news from their father, and how they struggled to understand Bruce's major change. 

In one of the teaser videos for the upcoming E! special, Kris cries her heart out in front of her daughter Kim.

"I have these memories of this life, and I feel sometimes like it didn't exist," the Kardashian-Jenner matriarch said. 

Kim tried to make her mother understand the present situation, saying, "He has to deal with this for his entire life of waking up and feeling like 'whoa, this isn't my body. This doesn't feel comfortable.'" 

Kim also advised her mother to simply accept it and just let go. 

Bruce is Kris' second husband after her divorce with the late lawyer Robert Kardashian, and he took care of the Kardashian siblings from the time he married their mother. 

The first episode of the "Keeping Up With the Kardashians: About Bruce" special will premiere on Sunday, May 17, while the second episode will air on Monday, May 18. 

Aside from the two-part special, Bruce's transition journey to become a woman will also be featured in an eight-part documentary that is scheduled to premiere on July 26 on E!
