An American Football Conference (AFC) East division battle will be opening Week 10 of the 2015 National Football League (NFL) regular season as the New York Jets and Buffalo Bills collide today, Thursday, at the MetLife Stadium.

Both teams are coming off Week 9 victories in their last games, with the Jets soaring over the Jacksonville Jaguars (28–23) while the Bills dominated the Miami Dolphins at home (33–17).

The Jets are placed second in the AFC East with a 5–3 record just behind the leading and defending champions the New England Patriots who still hold an unblemished 8–0 record.

In their win over the Jaguars, Jets quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick shone despite nursing a thumb injury, although it is not in his throwing hand.

Fitzpatrick completed 21 of 34 passes for 272 yards and two touchdowns with no interceptions, but was sacked twice.

Another standout performance in the win was from running back Chris Ivory who led the rushing with 23 carries for 26 yards and two touchdowns.

"We won. That's the biggest thing. Obviously, there were some sloppy things that we've got to clean up," Jets head coach Todd Bowles said following the victory over Jacksonville, according to ESPN.

A win today will strengthen the Jets' playoff chances which may bring them closer to possibly ending a four-season absence in the postseason.

Meanwhile, the Bills are also aiming for the same thing, looking to continue winning following a dominant performance against the Dolphins.

A notable performance for Buffalo is from wide receiver Sammy Watkins who, despite playing with an ankle injury, had eight catches for 168 yards and one touchdown.

Quarterback Tyrod Taylor also displayed pinpoint passing having 11 of 12 completions for 181 yards and one touchdown but got sacked thrice.

The game between AFC East rivals Jets and Bills will be held today, Nov. 12, at 8:25 p.m. EST. To watch via live stream, click here
