Fans who have already gotten hold of the latest "Call of Duty: Black Ops 3" downloadable content (DLC), titled "Salvation," are highly recommending that all the players get it now. Many have already shared their two cents about the game's maps and designs, and a majority of these fans left a positive feedback.

Mark Lamia, Treyarch's studio head, previously expressed his and the studio's sentiments about the said the DLC. In his statement, he said: "Without a doubt, this is the most epic season of DLC that we've ever created for fans of multiplayer and Zombies ... At this point, it goes without saying that Zombies has been a true labor of love for the studio, and I'm proud to say that this will be a defining and epic experience for the fans who have joined us over the last eight years."

If many enjoyed the single player mode of "Call of Duty: Black Ops 3," there is a bigger lot of players who prefer the multiplayer mode, and the latest DLC did not fail to deliver on that aspect of the game as well. PlayStation Lifestyle points out that there are a lot of things to try from the new downloadable content. The multiplayer maps have many things to offer, which makes the game more fun and enjoyable to play, even for long hours at a time.

Outlaw, one of the four maps included in the "Salvation" DLC, is a revamp of the old "Standoff" map. There are several areas in the said setting that are simply ignored because of players only thinking about how to survive during the game. Survival is the main goal, but the farmhouse and tight corridors are very much in need of a quick-and-dirty ambush. A stack of hay and a big stuffed bear are also located on the map, but they are seldom noticed by players.

Micro, a map that features two-liter soda bottles, plastic cups, and empty pizza boxes among others, is a fun way to play hide-and-seek with your opponents. The development team reportedly spent a lot of time creating the map. They paid close attention to every detail to the point where the melting ice also gives off some mist.

The "Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 Salvation" DLC is now available on the PlayStation 4, and will follow soon on the Xbox One and Windows PC.
