The "Call of Duty: Black Ops 3" beta has already started for Xbox One, but the early returns are not promising.

People have already expressed having difficulty in terms of trying to redeem the codes they will need to participate in the beta testing, according to Gamespot.

As of now, it is not yet clear what is causing some people problems when it comes to redeeming their codes for the Xbox One beta of "Call of Duty: Black Ops 3." At this point, all that Microsoft and Activision have said about the problem is that they are already working on fixing the issue as soon as they can, and that they will provide an update when possible.

Even though the Xbox One beta for "Call of Duty: Black Ops 3" launched at the same time as its personal computer (PC) counterpart, it appears that only the console version is the one currently affected by the problems.

Prior to the launch of the beta for both PC and the Xbox One, PlayStation 4 (PS4) owners already got their firsthand look at the game. Players did not report problems with the PS4 beta of "Call of Duty: Black Ops 3," according to the Independent UK.

Players who have managed to connect to the new beta of "Call of Duty: Black Ops 3" have the opportunity to try out the multiplayer offerings of the new title.

There are already three different maps and seven available multiplayer modes inside the "Call of Duty: Black Ops 3," although it's worth noting that the PS4 version routinely received updates that added more content as the testing went on. There's no guarantee that updates will also be coming to Xbox One and PC betas of the game, although the possibility remains.

The ongoing beta testing for PC and Xbox One versions of "Call of Duty: Black Ops 3" will end on Aug. 30.
