The "Awakening" DLC is finally here for "Call of Duty: Black Ops 3," and now, players will finally be able to experience the pack's new offerings for themselves.

In total, "Awakening" is adding five new maps to "Call of Duty: Black Ops 3," and four of those will be for the game's multiplayer mode.

The first of the four multiplayer maps included in "Awakening" is Gauntlet. In Gauntlet, players will be given access to a military training facility that features varied types of terrain. Players will be tasked with negotiating the different lanes while simultaneously remaining aware of their foes.

Next up, "Awakening" will also be adding the new multiplayer map known as Rise to "Call of Duty: Black Ops 3." In Rise, players will have to navigate a sprawling construction complete with some subterranean areas. Rise is also the biggest of the four multiplayer maps included in "Awakening."

The third multiplayer map included in the new DLC pack is Skyjacked. As GameSpot reported, Skyjacked is a remake of the Hijacked map that was featured in "Call of Duty: Black Ops 2," so this particular setting may be more familiar to certain players.

Last of the four multiplayer maps featured in "Awakening" is Splash. In Splash, players will be taken to an abandoned water park that contains all kinds of attractions, making it slightly different from the other maps featured in "Call of Duty: Black Ops 3."

Also being featured in "Awakening" is the new Zombies map known as Der Eisendrache. The new Zombies map will take players inside an old medieval castle, although that is not expected to be the most frightening aspect of the new addition.

According to Coming Soon, the new Zombies map is also expected to feature some plot twists that may catch players off guard.

"Awakening" is now available to purchase and download for the PlayStation 4 version of "Call of Duty: Black Ops 3."
