Infinity Ward, the developer of "Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare," has released update 1.13 for both PS4 and Xbox One. In addition, the studio has unveiled the upcoming Continuum downloadable content (DLC), which is slated to launch in mid-April.

Reports reveal that the "Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare" update comes with complete patch notes, which contain a number of fixes for bugs in the game. The developer also added 2XP Tokens that can be acquired from the Quartermaster. The said feature may be used to double the XP of the player from the previous match.

But it gets even better, especially for COD fans. According to reports, Infinity Ward has already released the first trailer of the Continuum multiplayer mode of the upcoming "Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare" DLC.

The new expansion showcases new maps, namely Turista, Scrap, Archive, and Excess. These maps have their own characteristics and setups. The Studio Head of Infinity Ward, Dave Stohl, has explained that they are making various map setups in order to accommodate different play styles that allow players demonstrate different kinds of gameplay.

One map is designed for close quarters combat, while the rest lean toward fast-paced or long-range battles. Each map is designed for optimum multiplayer game experience.

In addition to the mentioned maps for multiplayer games, "Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare" Continuum also comes with a zombie mode. Sources reveal that the Shaolin Shuffle Zombie map will bring players back to the past, to the funky city of New York back in the 70's. But instead of flower power and hippies, this time, the city will be filled with zombies.

The expansion is scheduled for release on April 18. The game will initially launch as a PS4-exclusive. However, the expansion will be made available on Xbox One in the weeks to follow. Gamers can purchase the Continuum expansion for $15.
