Chelsea will play West Ham on Wednesday night in the English Premier League, and even though the most optimistic Hammers fans must be worried that this one could end painfully for the east London team.

The game is scheduled to start at 7.45 p.m. GMT (2.45 p.m. EST), and can be watched online through live stream – free for NBC Sports subscribers – via the link provided below.

West Ham do not do well against Chelsea in the Premier League, and they are even more vulnerable than usual at present, having gone through months of terrible form. With their confidence seemingly completely blown, a trip to Stamford Bridge to face off against Jose Mourinho's men is probably one of the last places Hammers fans want to watch their team play.

In their last 15 English Premier League games against Chelsea, West Ham have won just once, losing 12 of those games, and managing a draw just twice.

Coming into this game, Chelsea are unbeaten in their last seven EPL games against West Ham at Stamford Bridge, and Hammers fans have to look way back to 2002 to find their last win here. That victory featured Paolo Di Canio in a 3-2 win for the claret and blues, and will seem a far distant memory for most West Ham faithful tonight.

Sam Allardyce's men have won just four of their 22 EPL games this season – a win percentage of just 18 percent. That's clear relegation form, and if Big Sam cannot pull his team together and quick, the season could be over in the coming six or seven weeks of the season.

Worryingly for West Ham, they have dropped more points from winning positions than any other team in the EPL this season. That's a stunning statistic seeing as most see Big Sam's teams as ones that fight tooth and nail to grind out points. However, too often recently, the Hammers have folded too easily and the team has been accused of having a lack of fight.

Even worse for West Ham, is the fact that Allardyce has a terrible record against his counterpart tonight, Jose Mourinho. Big Sam's teams have picked up just two points in their last seven top flight games against teams managed by Mourinho, and most are expecting that trend to continue tonight.

Expect a long, painful night if you are a West Ham fan.
