Jimmy Butler is aware that the alleged feud between him and Derrick Rose is still up in the air. He, however, believes that all that will eventually die down once they take the floor and start wining.

Butler, who was recently signed to a rich $90 million pact spread over five years, is being linked to an alleged rift which he has continuously shot down.

To recall, the said issue originated all the way back to the Eastern Conference semifinals that saw the Bulls bow to the Cleveland Cavaliers in six games.

It was believed that the two had trouble coexisting, each wanting the ball which, of course, is impossible in basketball. After that, a curious question came up, and that has to do with whether or not the two stars would ever be able to get on the same page while playing on the same team.

But for Butler, it is all about winning.

"We didn't win," Butler said via ESPN. "That's it. When you don't win, somebody's got to find something to blame it on."

As far as the rising star is concerned, all this will eventually die down once the Bulls enter the new season and start proving that all is fine between him and the former NBA Most Valuable Player (MVP).

"Whenever we win, all of this is going right out the window," Butler said. "Whenever we start winning at the beginning of the season when we're going through everything, it's not an issue," he added.

True enough, such could be the case. But once the coming NBA season unfurls, expect a lot of attention on the two players — both on and off the court.

Will the issue ever die down? Will both truly find a way to coexist? Butler seems to think so and it should be not surprising if Rose would say the same. How about once the season start? Will both still be standing pat on their claims?
