Joanna Gaines dismissed the various rumors surrounding her, her husband Chip, and "Fixer Upper," the show the couple stars in, in a blog post.

Joanna acknowledged that she and her husband have become the subject of gossip recently, and said that she recognized the fact that she and Chip cannot control the rumors circulating about them. However, she said in her post, titled "Don't Believe Everything You Read," that the two of them want to protect their fans from false information. She advised followers of the show to resort to official channels for legitimate news and information, and to be cautious in paying attention to updates and claims from unofficial sources, saying that such may just very well be false.

In that same blog post, she confirmed that they are currently filming episodes for the season 5 of "Fixer Upper," although she did not reveal when the season premiere will air. She also denied that she is currently pregnant with their fifth child. She also laughed off the rumor that she will be leaving the show to sell facial creams.

Reports say that the rumors began circulating after it was revealed that Chip and Joanna are part of the Antioch Community Church in Waco, headed by Jimmy Seibert. The pastor's name made headlines when he expressed anti-homosexuality sentiments after the Supreme Court legalized same-sex marriage in 2015. While the Gaineses did not say anything that would indicate that they shared their pastor's beliefs, their affiliation with the church was sufficient for some people to spread gossips about them. The resulting rumors include Joanna's pregnancy, the couple's divorce, and the cancelation of "Fixer Upper."

Joanna just recently celebrated her 39^th birthday. Chip gifted his wife with a sweet birthday message posted on Instagram, ending his note with a "Happy birthday, young lady!"
