Christian Blog and Web Awards draw near

Christians who are part of the blogging and web community have only a few days left to enter the Christian Blog and Web Awards to be in with a chance of winning £1,000 for their church, or a host of prizes for themselves.

Now in its second year, the Christian Blog and Web Awards is an annual event that recognises and rewards members of the Christian community for exceptional websites and blogs. The event culminates with a black tie awards ceremony hosted by Jeff Lucas and Maria Toth, along with the Bishop of London.

"This year looks better than ever," Toth commented. "We've got an excellent panel of judges, including author and television presenter Pam Rhodes.

"Jeff Lucas and myself will be hosting the awards ceremony on September the 19th at St Stephen Walbrook - it promises to be an amazing evening - we can't wait."

Christians will have the opportunity to enter their blogs and websites into any of the twelve categories, including Best Church Website (top prize £1000), Best Young Christian Blog (top prize a Nintendo Wii) and Most Inspiring Leadership Blog (top prize a Palm Pilot). Those who don't have their own blog or website, can nominate a friend for The People's Choice Awards.

The last date for entries is Monday 25 August. To enter the awards, simplly log on to www.ChristianBlogAwards.com and submit your details.
