Law enforcement officers arrested a 29-year-old man last week for allegedly posting online threats that targeted teachers and students at a Christian school in Portland, Oregon, USA.

Zachariah Peterson was nabbed after he was reported to have posted threats in an online forum called General Mayhem, according to Christian News Network.

Peterson claimed that he was mistreated by teachers at a Christian middle school and he's planning to kill them and their students at an adjoining elementary school.

He threatened to enter the middle school building and "catch each one of the abusive teachers and mow them down with a shotgun."

After carrying this out, he said would go to the elementary school to "have [his] way with the disgusting abusive [expletive]-head Christian children."

Authorities traced the IP address to Peterson and the FBI, Oregon state police and the Portland Joint Terrorism Task Force trooped to his home.

"Peterson admitted to sending the threatening online post about the school and also advised investigators that he had sent the posts from either his laptop or desktop computer," an FBI affidavit read.

Found in his home were four firearms including a .22-caliber handgun and a Ruger rifle with two 25-round magazines.

Peterson is facing a felony charge of possession of a weapon. He is being held at the Multnomah County Detention Center on a $100,00 bail and is awaiting court date.

He was convicted in 2007 on marijuana charges.
