Ciara has opened up about her ex, Future Zahir, and her relationship with her boyfriend, Russell Wilson. Speaking to Gayle King on "CBS This Morning" about her ex's previous comments about her letting their son, Future Jr., have a relationship with Wilson, the singer said that she feels like there's a "double standard" since she looked after his three other children while they were together.

According to E! Online, Ciara reminded King that the rapper has four children with three different women, including herself. Ciara was referring to Future's exes Brittni Mealy, India J., and Jessica Smith. She said that she was involved in caring for his other children during the very early stages of their relationship.

Last month, Future expressed his displeasure when pictures showing his child bonding with Wilson surfaced, and he immediately blasted his ex for letting the quarterback push his son's stroller.

"You never do that in our community," said the rapper in an interview with New York's Power 105.1 last month. "You don't even bring a man around your son. You only know that dude for a few months and you're bringing him around your kid?"

However, the "Goodies" singer is making no apologies for having her son bond with the new man in her life.

"Wouldn't you want someone to love on your child, or love on that child you're speaking about?" she asked King.

The 29-year-old singer said that she's fine with people talking about her, but she is concerned about how her son would be affected by the comments.

"People are going to talk about me. I was built for this, this is what I'm supposed to be doing," she said, adding that at the end of the day, it's her son who will be most affected by the criticism. "I think people have to think about that versus just shouting out things."

The singer also talked about Wilson and their decision to stay celibate. She shared that the Seattle Seahawks quarterback never expected to mention it, but he talked about it because it is a reality in their relationship. Although Ciara admitted that it can be a challenge, she said that it's "awesome" because they get to learn how to know each other without being intimate.

"We get to really challenge ourselves getting to know each other and really build a foundation ... We are Christians and we love God and we believe in God," she said.
