Injured or not, Cleveland Cavaliers star LeBron James will shine and he did so in Sunday's 101–97 victory over the Indiana Pacers which was their sixth consecutive in seven games this 2015–16 season. 

James was suffering from a sore leg but still led the charge for Cleveland scoring 29 points, also tallying six rebounds and four assists in 35 minutes of action. 

Along with the four-time Most Valuable Player (MVP), former All-Star forward Kevin Love also shone for the Cavs with a double-double 22 points and 19 rebounds, also having two assists and three rejections. 

Another big man in reserve Tristan Thompson impressed as he recorded 16 points, eight rebounds, one assist, and two steals off the bench. 

Cavaliers head coach David Blatt praised James' toughness as he played despite an injury. 

"Most guys probably wouldn't have played with what he had, and he played, and you saw how he played. The guy is unbelievable. He really is. I don't have a better word than that," Blatt said, according to the Associated Press. 

James did more than play, but also revisited a rivalry with Pacers star forward Paul George, whom he went against a number of times in the playoffs when he was still with the Miami Heat. 

Now, the win improved the Cavs' record to 6–1, giving them the top spot in the Eastern Conference standings. 

Cleveland will have the chance to extend the winning streak to seven games when they host the Utah Jazz at the Quicken Loans Arena today, Tuesday, 

Following the game against the Jazz, James and the Cavaliers will be having a three-game Eastern Conference road trip before heading back home. The team the Cavs will be facing on the road are the New York Knicks, Milwaukee Bucks, and the Detroit Pistons. 

Cleveland will again take on Milwaukee and will be the host following the road trip.
