"Crush Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy" will be released on the Nintendo Switch and Personal Computer (PC) this year according to Max Arguile, the licensing manager of GB eye, a British licensing firm. Moreover, he also said that a new "Crash Bandicoot" game will release in 2019.

Arguile was quoted in the spring 2018 Licensing Source Book Europe. He said Activision, the publisher of "Crash Bandicoot" and GB eye are working together to bring the game to Switch and PC this year and develop a new game next year. Activision has yet to issue an official statement on the matter.

"Crush Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy" received a massive success during its release on June 30, 2017. The video game was developed by Vivacious Visions and is a collection of remasters of the first three installments in the "Crash Bandicoot" franchise — "Crash Bandicoot," "Cortex Strikes Back" and "Warped," which were originally developed by Naughty Dog for PlayStation in the 1990s. "Crush Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy" was published exclusively for PlayStation 4 (PS4).

The game follows the namesake of the game, Crash Bandicoot's adventure. He was created by his nemesis — a mad scientist and terrorist, Doctor Neo Cortex under the guidance of the wicked Tiki mask, Uka Uka. Cortex wanted to achieve world domination, motivated by the ridicule he experienced at the hands of the scientific community. He began his plans by mutating animals nearby into his soldiers.

Crash managed to escaped Cortex after a failed experiment in the "Cortex Vortex." After that, he began stopping Cortex from pursuing and accomplishing his plans. Not long after, eliminating Crash had been Cortex's top priority alongside world domination.

"Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy," did not vary from the earlier games in the franchise for it uses spinning and jumping techniques to defeat enemies and collect Wumpa Fruits, extra lives, and Aku Aku masks. The trilogy added new features including unified checkpoints, pause menus, manual and automatic saving systems and time trials. Furthermore, players now have the ability to play as Crash's sister, Coco.
