'Criminal Minds' season 11 episode 7 spoilers
The recently aired episode of "Criminal Minds" titled "Pariahville" showed the story of a woman from a small town in Florida who was murdered and the team had a hard time going through the list of suspects since the location is a place filled with sex offenders.
The Behavioral Analysis Unit (BAU) found themselves heading to Glenport Village, which is a planned community headed by Reverend Santos (Ruben Garfias) intended for people who have committed sex offense crimes, according to BuddyTV.
In the official "Criminal Minds" Twitter account, it was also stated that Glenport Village was based on a community in Miracle Park, Florida.
The team went on to talk to different sex offenders to find leads and eventually led them to one who takes great interest in cheerleaders. For a brief moment, the unsub went on a hostage situation involving the sheriff's (Joel Gretsch) daughter, Riley (Taylor Spreitler), until Tara (Aisha Tyler) took a clean shot of him.
After that moment, Morgan was seen telling the psychologist that he's surprised she took her first shot, but Tara responded that it was a necessary thing to do.
The final moments of this episode showed Tara presented with a new job opportunity with Hotch (Thomas Gibson) telling her that it's work that needs to be started immediately, which would also mean she may need to leave BAU.
Will it be the last time fans get to see Tyler's Tara Lewis? Fans will just have to tune in to the next episode to find out.
Meanwhile, the upcoming episode titled "Target Rich" will feature the return of familiar faces to the show.
Rossi's (Joe Mantegna) daughter Joy (Amber Stevens West) will be featured in the episode as she investigates a missing college student. The BAU helps out with the investigation, while dealing with the news that Giuseppe (Robert Neary) died in prison after providing information about the "Dirty Dozen."
And, of course, episode 7, as promised, will bring back JJ (A.J. Cook).
"Criminal Minds" airs Wednesdays at 9 p.m. EST on CBS.
