The Horse Lords DLC for the "Crusader Kings 2" video game, by Paradox Development Studio, is expected to be released by tomorrow July 14. The Horse Lords DLC was announced just last month by Paradox Interactive and is expected to be the 8^th expansion for the grand strategy video game.

Twinfinite.net reports that a new video was released earlier this month revealing more details about the DLC. The latest expansion is said to focus more on the nomadic people of Central Asia and comes with new and unique gameplay features such as the nomadic rule system and rulership succession, according to reports.

As nomads, players will have to focus more on growing their own populations. For the succession, players will have to improve their sons' status in order for them to succeed as the next nomadic ruler.

In addition to the Horse Lords expansion, reports say it will also come along with the new free patch 2.4, which will fix bugs and make new changes. Other features expected to come with the upcoming DLC include clan politics, an expanded map and the Silk Road route, among many others.

The Silk Road was known in the ancient times as a trading route that links the east to the west via Central Asia.

Twinfinite.net added that the new Horse Lords DLC will also include an option where players can demand payment from their tributary.

The Crusader Kings 2 video game was released back in 2012 for the Microsoft Windows and Mac OS X platforms. It was later released for the Linux platform back in January 2013. According to a report, the game had been very successful with over a million copies sold.

Previous expansions that were released include the Sword of Islam in 2012, the Legacy of Rome in the same year, the Sons of Abraham in 2013 and the Rajas of India in 2014, among others.
