The Dallas Cowboys will play the Green Bay Packers in a massive game for Week 14 of the NFL 2015 regular season. The Cowboys are lagging behind in the NFC East, but a win today would help ensure they remain in contention for the division title for another week. The Packers though will be desperate themselves for the victory, so we can expect a hotly contested game with neither side giving an inch. The game has a scheduled start time of 4.25 p.m. ET and takes place from Lambeau Field in Green Bay. The Cowboys have had a tough season and come into Week 14 with a poor 4-8 record. But amazingly they still have the chance at winning the NFC East, as the division has been packed with underachieving sides and inconsistent performances all season long.

Above the Cowboys are the Washington Redskins, Philadelphia Eagles and New York Giants all stuck in the three way tie on 5-7. So Dallas being just a game back coming into Week 14 leaves them with a real chance if they can win out their season.

However, they will face a mammoth task to claim the win today against a Green Bay Packers side fighting for their own division title in the NFC North.

Minnesota Vikings' loss earlier this week has opened the door again for the Packers to re-establish themselves at the top of the division. Coming into this game, the Vikings have slipped to 8-5, where as the Packers are on 8-4, knowing that a win today would allow them to take sole possession of the top spot.

The Packers have suffered some spotty form of late and if they are not on their game today then the Cowboys have a side that can take advantage. However, the Cowboys have been inconsistent all season, meaning that today's game could go either way.

Earlier in Week 14 in the NFL regular season, the Minnesota Vikings and Arizona Cardinals faced off on Thursday Night Football in a game full of drama and late twists.

The Cardinals came into the game as favorites, but the Vikings refused to give in and wouldn't fall away despite Arizona's best efforts.

A late rally in the final quarter saw Minnesota almost come back to take the game into overtime, and with just seconds to go they had moved into a perfect field goal position, which would have leveled the scores.

However, Dwight Freeney stripped the ball from Teddy Bridgewater with five seconds to play in a hugely disappointing ending for the Vikings. The turnover deprived Minnesota the opportunity to take the game to overtime and allowed the Cardinals to clinch a Playoff berth that night.

NFL fans across the country were held on the edge of their seats as the Vikings pulled back from 10 points down in the final quarter and when Bridgewater moved the Vikings to the 31 yard line with what should have been the final drive in the fourth it looked like the game would be heading to a mouthwatering overtime showdown.

But as Bridgewater went to throw the ball, Freeney managed to get a hand onto the quarterback's arm mid-throw to knock the ball loose. Calls Campbell punched on the loose ball and the game was dramatically and suddenly over.

It would be harsh to blame Bridgewater for the ending, seeing as the Vikings' comeback was very much based on his good work. The quarterback ended the game passing for 335 yards and a touchdown. Carson Palmer threw for 310 yards and two touchdowns for the Cardinals.
