Controversial dance instructor and television host Abby Lee Miller will be walking out of prison a changed woman — most especially on the outside.

Miller was sentenced to one year and one day in federal prison after she pleaded guilty to bankruptcy fraud in June 2016. She was indicted in 2015 for 20 counts of fraud, including concealment of bankruptcy assets and false bankruptcy declarations in hiding assets amounting to over $700,000. Her sentence was carried out on June 2017.

Her time in prison seems to have a silver lining, as Miller saw her time behind bars as an opportunity to pay more attention to herself.

"I've always put everybody else's child first before my own health, before my own outfit, before my own time frame," she said in a report by ET online. "Everybody else was dressed and out the door and looking perfect and I was running around trying to find a clean towel to take a shower with, so I think this will be a little 'me' time."

It looks as if jail time has certainly given her a much needed break from all the stress she had been feeling up until her imprisonment. The "Dance Moms" star has been reported to have lost about 100 pounds since going inside the penitentiary and is reportedly feeling great.

Her initial fears of going to prison have also been lifted. Before her sentence, she feared that serving time would make her lose her personality or make her shut herself out to other people. Instead, she has been on her best behavior inside the facility, which only contributed to her early release.

She will be reporting regularly to a halfway house Van Nuys, California after her release next month, as part of the terms of her sentence.

It is still unknown when Miller will be going back to work, if she ever decides to do so, but sources say that the host is planning to undergo several cosmetic surgeries after her release.
