The Abby Lee Dance Company is headed to their last competition of the season and all the action and drama will be shown in the season 5 finale of "Dance Moms," which is titled "Chaos at Nationals." If the name of the episode is any indication, some serious tension and drama will definitely take place.

The nationals, which took place in Lancaster, California, is the biggest contest the group participated in, at least for this season. The competition took place back in May, which means that the winners and losers of the night were already declared.

[Spoiler Alert! Those who do not want to know how the nationals ended should turn back now.]

According to IB Times, the ALDC did not take home the crown. The group that snatched the championship from them was Jeanette Cota's Broadway Dance Academy, whose opening performance to the tune of "Moving Target" put ALDC's "The Waiting Room" rendition in second place.

The solo performances from ALDC weren't the best either. Maddie Ziegler was reportedly crowned second for her contemporary piece "Someone Special." Ava Cota from BDA won in that category. Also, Mackenzie came out fourth with her acro/ lyrical interpretation of "Dreamer" although she was hailed the "overall high score title winner."

The positive that fans can expect in the season 5 finale is that Nia represented her group in a solo at the nationals. In the previous episode, Nia wasn't promised a solo even after winning a one-on-one battle against Kalani, who Abby reportedly favored . Abby said that the winning dancer would get a solo at the nationals.

Before the competition started, majority of the moms and Abby were under the impression Kalani was better than Nia, which made the latter's win a total shock. Despite this though, IB Times says that Nia got a solo and even ended up being hailed second place overall in the teen solo division.

The season 5 finale "Dance Moms" airs Aug. 11.
