"Dance Moms" has been on air for six seasons straight but unfortunately, the show might be facing a near demise since "Dance Moms" star Abby Lee Miller might be sentenced to prison soon.

"Dance Moms" has been on the air since 2011. The show is a documentary type series that features the life of Abby Lee Miller, her students, and their mothers as they work altogether in Miller's dance company in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.

"Dance Moms" shows what goes on behind competitive dance contests as Abby Lee Miller's students aim to pursue the highly-celebrated National Dance title. The show explores the dynamics between teacher, student, and parent as Miller brings out the potential of the young dancers.

Though "Dance Moms" was a show successful enough to end up having six seasons on air, the show might just be up for its last season since reports show that "Dance Moms" season 6 has experienced a great drop in viewers in the middle of the season.

What's more is that "Dance Moms" season 7 is speculated to be the show's last season since "Dance Moms" ALDC coach Abby Lee Miller has recently pleaded guilty to fraud charges. Rumors suggest that Miller could indeed be facing a prison sentence that would completely hinder her from continuing the show.

Other things that add to the suspicion that "Dance Moms" season 7 might be the last season of the show is the fact that some of Miller's student's mothers are distancing themselves from Miller because of her bankruptcy fraud charges.

In one previous episode of "Dance Moms" Jill and Kendall was shown breaking their ties with Miller.

"We've been unhappy for some time now, since Abby has been sitting on an entire album of Kendall's music. So this week, our attorney sent word to Abby's attorney that we were going to dissolve our contract with Abby," Jill said.

In response Miller expressed that she is not "taking anymore crap from Jill," leaving the two parties to seek their lawyers to completely end their partnership.
