'Days of Our Lives' spoilers: JJ faces more guilt; Jack returns to give some guidance; Theresa comes back to Salem, battles Eve for Brady?

JJ (Casey Moss) did the one thing he would never do, nor allow himself to do in recent "Days of Our Lives" episodes. Unfortunately, spoilers indicate that he will only continue to crumble under the crushing weight of his guilt for shooting Theo (Kyler Pettis).

It goes without saying that JJ will go through another dark time in his life, and to think, he has already been through a lot. From drugs and vandalism when he was a teenager, to dealing with the deaths of his father Jack (Matthew Ashford) and Paige (True O'Brien). Plus, there was the time when he thought Abigail (Marci Miller) was dead too. However, he managed to find a way to turn his life around and found love with Lani (Sal Stowers) until the shooting happened.

However, it seems like he has hit rock bottom again, and he will have difficulty getting out of it. Jennifer (Melissa Reeves) and Abigail will hate the fact that JJ is struggling with so much pain. They hate seeing him like this. They will offer to help him out, but it seems like he will only continue to push them away.

Unfortunately, it might only get worse before it gets any better. JJ will decide to make a sneaky move next week. While Hope (Kristian Alfonso) ordered him to stay away from the hospital, JJ just will not be able to. JJ will feel like he needs to visit Theo and see what he has done for himself. He will sneak into Theo's room and he will break down by Theo's bedside. He will start crying over how sorry he is and he will beg Theo to make it through. JJ will fear that he may never wake up from the coma he is under.

Fortunately, Theo will wake up sooner or later, but the downside to that is the recovery process. Theo will have to learn how to do everyday tasks again. The stroke he suffered will definitely change his life. This means JJ will feel even guiltier. Theo might eventually give JJ some reassurance, especially since he committed a crime after all. Plus, Kate (Lauren Koslow) is actually the one to blame for triggering this whole incident, but Theo might take responsibility anyway because that is just how he is.

For now, JJ might be getting some guidance from an unexpected place. It was confirmed that Ashford is returning for a brief appearance as Jack. It seems like JJ will have a vision of Jack when he needs him the most.

More "Days of Our Lives" spoilers indicate that another major player is coming back. Theresa (Jen Lilley) will be returning to Salem. It is unclear when she will be popping back into Salem and how long will she be staying, but her return should set up some interesting storylines.

As of now, Theresa is living with a drug lord in Mexico. She is pretty much the drug lord's sex slave until she can find a way to bring him down. Plus, Brady (Eric Martsolf) thinks of her as someone who abandoned her child. While she may have only done it to protect her family, this is still pretty bad.

Theresa's return can set up an opportunity to fix all that. Yet, there are some new developments that could add to the drama. A love triangle might be brewing for her, Eve (Kassie DePaiva) and Brady. Eve and Brady may be rivals at the moment, but there is a possibility that romance could come out of all of this. It would be quite a shocker for Theresa if she shows up and finds out that her own sister is dating Brady, more so if they are in bed together when she comes back.

Brady has also become quite a cold-hearted man these days as well, so Theresa will be even more shocked. She used to be quite the troublemaker, but Brady helped her out and made her find a better way to live her life. If he is not going to behave then Theresa might find that there is no reason for her to be the same either. It is unclear what her mental state is either, so she might have already gone back to her old ways anyway.

"Days of Our Lives" airs Mondays to Fridays at 1 p.m. EST on NBC.
