Chad accuses Andre of Theo's situation in "Days of Our Lives"

Someone has already paid the price in the efforts of uncovering who is behind the sabotage at DiMera. However, "Days of Our Lives" spoilers reveal that the mastermind behind it all is Vivian Alamain (Louise Sorel).

Even though she has not surfaced in Salem just yet, Vivian has already begun seeking revenge on her enemies. Theo (Kyler Pettis), on the other hand, has become a casualty in her attempt to pay back those who wronged her. Kate (Lauren Koslow) is the first on her list.

Kate has been trying to figure out who is responsible for the sabotage, especially since the previous incident cost them a lot of money. This led her to seeking Theo's help, and resulted in him fighting for his life.

Knowing that Kate sits on the CEO chair of DiMera Enterprises, Vivian had to attack the company. She predicted that Kate would be the one to blame for the business losing bids left and right. This would then affect her position as well as her reputation, two things that are important to her, which is why Vivian came up with this plan. Vivian is clearly hitting Kate where it hurts the most, and she also happens to be succeeding.

Unfortunately, Vivian seeking vengeance on Kate caused JJ (Casey Moss) to accidentally shoot Theo. Even though he ultimately pulled the trigger, Vivian is the one at fault for Theo's injuries. Knowing Vivian, she would not have any remorse for either Theo or JJ. She is only focused on getting revenge. She does not care who ends up getting hurt along the way.
Fans of the show know how dangerous Vivian can be. Murder and torture are right up her alley.

Although Vivian does not care about whatever happens or will happen to Theo, Kate does. She blames herself for the shooting, but she decides not to tell the truth. Instead, she will scramble to cover up any evidence of her involvement as expected from her. Little does she know, Vivian will be lurking and watching in the shadows. It is another bit that she can use as leverage against Kate. Should she decide to use that to her advantage, Kate could end up losing a lot more than her reputation, career, and money. Kate might find herself behind bars or worse, six feet under.

Meanwhile, "Days of Our Lives" spoilers indicate that Kristen (Eileen Davidson) will be making a brief appearance in next week's episodes. Fans who have been watching for a long time have probably seen this coming. From the moment it was announced that Davidson would be coming back to the show as Susan Banks, many have already speculated that Kristen would come in as well.

The recent promo for this month's episodes saw Kristen laughing maniacally in the room that Susan set up for Will (Chandler Massey), whom she brainwashed into thinking that he was her son EJ (James Scott). Fans know that Susan has a few screws loose in the head, but losing her son just drove her over the edge. Susan believes that Dr. Rolf (William Utay) failed to resurrect her beloved son, but he made a few changes to his methods and succeeded with Will.

It should be noted, however, that Dr. Rolf has resurrected quite a number of people over the years. Had he failed to do so with EJ, then Stefano (Joseph Mascolo) probably would have the doctor killed before he could revive anyone else. There is also the fact that Kristen injected the resurrection serum into EJ's corpse. While Dr. Rolf might have done something to him later on, there is a very slim chance that it was necessary.

Spoilers hint that before she leaves again, Kristen might make a cryptic comment. Speculation is high that she will hint that EJ is alive.

Then again, this comment is not very surprising. Scott's exit from the show was quite open ended, so there is still a chance for EJ to be back, even if it is only for a handful of episodes. Another option is to have a recast for the character, if Scott is unwilling to come back.

"Days of Our Lives" airs Mondays to Fridays at 1 p.m. EST on NBC.
