National Basketball Association superstar Derrick Rose appeared out of the trainer's room with no apparent sign of being injured. The Cleveland Cavaliers point guard sustained a left ankle injury last Friday, Oct. 20, which sidelined him during the game against Orlando Magic on Oct. 21, Saturday.

Following the Cavs' 21-point defeat, Rose told reporters that it was only a mild sprain and "nothing too serious." He said that he has been receiving a lot of treatment for his injury and that their medical team was on top of his situation. He added that he was more worried about losing his conditioning since he had been feeling great prior to the sprain.

Ross sustained the injury when fell after getting accidentally hit in the neck by Milwaukee Bucks center Greg Monroe on Friday. The offense, which is normally ruled to be a common foul, had Rose questioning it and he showed his discontentment with how the referees called it. The next day, the NBA reviewed said call and upgraded to a flagrant foul 1.

When asked about it, Rose said that he was happy at the turn of events and showed that the NBA was paying attention to what was happening.

The Cavaliers did not have a scheduled game last Sunday, which is welcome news for the team, especially for Rose, after going through their first back-to-games this season. The team returned to practice the following day before their game against the Chicago Bulls tonight on Tuesday night.

Cavaliers head coach Tyronn Leu said that he would not use Rose as his point guard for the game. The coach added that he wanted to make sure that Rose was up and running with no lingering issues before he is put back in their rotation.

In their loss to the Orlando Magic, Lue fielded Jose Calderon who did not perform well alongside his teammates. The replacement point guard incurred two turnovers in his five-minute stint inside the court.
