Josh Duggar seeks to renew wedding vows with Anna after rehab stint, but wife wants divorce
Defamed reality TV star Josh Duggar from the cancelled "19 Kids and Counting" is desperate to save his marriage with Anna Duggar and plans to renew his wedding vows with her right after he gets out of the rehab facility Reformers Unanimous.
A source close to Josh revealed to Hollywood Life that the father of four is making plans that would make Anna forget any thoughts of divorcing him in light of his admitted sexual addiction and marital infidelity following the hacking of the Ashley Madison adultery website.
"(Josh) wants to a have an elaborate ceremony as soon as he gets out of rehab," the source said, adding that he wants to "make it a really special occasion for Anna."
Josh first came under fire early this year when it was revealed that he molested underage girls when he was just a teenager, causing his family the cancellation of their show. Back then, his whole family, including Anna, firmly stood by his side and defended him from bashers.
However, after the Ashley Madison hack revealed that he cheated on his wife several times, the Duggar family was devastated and Anna felt "disgusted" by his actions, and she went back to live with her family.
"It's been really stressful for Anna," the source shared, since Anna is a full-time single parent. She has already expressed her desire to file for divorce, and her parents-in-law Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar are reportedly trying to dissuade her by offering her and Josh a new house.
Josh begged Anna not to leave him and he even suggested that they have another baby in hopes of saving their marriage.
"He is not convinced she will stay if he can persuade her....to have another child together," the source said. Josh is even sweet-talking his wife that "they were meant to have another baby."
However, all of Josh's pleas might be in vain since Anna is really adamant about getting a divorce, the source said.
