Apparently "Destiny 2" is fated to be constantly scrutinized by its player base, as another protest or mass complaint from the players of the first-person shooter (FPS) is giving the developers a headache.

The digital community of "Destiny 2" is now rife with unrest due to players using the hashtag #RemoveEververse on every forum post and discussion about the new feature added in-game recently. It has gotten to the point where the complaints are quite prevalent and persistent, and they can almost be considered as a unanimous sentiment of the players toward Bungie, the developers.

Those not content with clogging up the game website's forums even took to Reddit and other forum websites to spread their displeasure of one of the most hated features of the FPS. Meanwhile, Bungie has yet to respond to this growing tide of vexation. Website Tech Raptor has reported that the developers of the game have yet to come up with a solution for the demands of the enraged player base.

There was even an online petition site with the goal of imploring the developers to remove Eververse, but this has not gained as much traction as expected since it is currently at 87 supporters during the time of writing. It appears to still be at its infancy stage and may increase or become obsolete depending on what Bungie plans to do with the mass complaints.

For those unfamiliar with the feature, the Eververse Trading Company, or simply Eververse, is an in-game feature which lets players buy loot boxes for randomized items for the game using only the currency called Silver, which can in turn, only be obtained with real-world money. Players were quick to rally behind the notion that Bungie was locking a significant portion of in-game items behind a blatant paywall, where the said content was supposed to be free and should have been earned by playing the game instead of spending money.

For now, players will have to wait for Bungie's next move.
