Developer Bungie has discussed upcoming developments for their space-age shooter "Destiny" at this year's Electronic Entertainment Expo. Riding on waves of prior speculations, the company has confirmed that, indeed, they are cooking up a third expansion for their title following the successful "The Dark Below" and "House of Wolves" expansion packs.

Dubbed as "The Taken King," the third DLC has been reported as coming out in the latter part of the year. Since Bungie has declined to share any more information about the upcoming expansion, many fans are piecing together bits of reported leaks about the upcoming DLC.

Confirmed reports, however, say that to celebrate the upcoming release of "The Taken King," Sony will be releasing a Limited Edition PlayStation 4 system bundle. The bundle will be released later this year and will be packaged with a white game-inspired Limited Edition 500 GB PS4 system, together with a physical copy of "Destiny: The Taken King Legendary Edition." The game copy will include the original game "Destiny" together with the new expansion. Also included are the two other previous DLCs, "The Dark Below" and "House of Wolves." There will also be a Digital Collector's Edition, which will give players three additional exotic Guardian class items that give XP bonuses, as well as three armor shaders, early access weapons packs, and three class-specific emotes.

Meanwhile, the release of the third DLC for the PlayStation 4 will also give players timed exclusive content – a new co-op Strike called Echo Chamber; an additional Sector 618 multiplayer PvP map; three legendary gear sets (Hesperos, Azoth Bend, and Neuroghast); and an exotic scout rifle, the Jade Rabbit. These new items will be exclusive to PS4 players and will last until fall next year.

The Limited Edition "Destiny: The Taken King" PlayStation 4 bundle will be released on Sept. 15.
