When "Detroit: Become Human" was first revealed via trailers and teasers, fans and gamers alike almost instantly got excited about the game. Now that the long wait is over, the neo-noir thriller video game is finally coming out in just a few months. Now is the time for PlayStation 4 (PS4) players to start saving.

The news of the announcement date for the upcoming game was first announced on a PlayStation Blog that was posted by the writer and director of the game, David Cage. In the post, he also mentions a little bit of gameplay news and what players can expect in the game.

The game is set in a dystopian future, and the story focuses on three robots, or as the game calls it, "androids." While originally made to obey objective orders, they start getting their own subjectivity developing emotions and feelings. With violent society they are in, the three robots will have to make a decision and this is where the player comes in.

From that alone, players can expect a lot of possible storylines and especially endings to anticipate. "Each story is almost as unique as your DNA: it is the result of the choices you made, the minor ones and the important ones, because in Detroit, all choices matter," reads the post on the PlayStation website.

Players would not choose between three robots but rather take control of all three as the player takes turns for each robot. Cage has mentioned a lot of details from the game that may interest players. From the post, as it also acknowledges, players will get to appreciate the game more as it resonates real-life situations.

"Detroit: Become Human" is set to be released on May 25, 2018. It will be only available exclusively on the PS4.
