The action adventure hack and slash video game titled "Devil May Cry 4" is expected to be released for the next generation consoles titled "Devil May Cry 4: Special Edition." According to the details posted on PlayStation Blog, the upcoming video game will feature a unique form of immersion, which will be made possible by including new modes, a diversified gameplay mechanic, and improved visuals. However, perhaps the biggest improvement that will be coming to the title will be an expanded playable character roster, which will feature Vergil, Trish, and Lady.

The blog post states that a new gameplay mechanic called 'concentration' has been added, which ends up supplementing Vergil's 'iaijutsu' fighting style. With this mechanic, players will be able to inflict larger amounts of damage to their enemies, chaining up a large flurry of attacks in order to project a high combo score and rating. Additionally, 'Grim Trick' will allow players to use Vergil's teleport ability effectively.

A 'Legendary Dark Knight Mode' game mode has been added, which was a mode that was void on the PS3 platform. In this mode, players will be squaring off against a phalanx of enemies and will have to make use of every fighting style in "Devil May Cry 4: Special Edition's" fighting almanac to come out on top. The new game mode will definitely change the tone of gameplay.

"Devil May Cry 4: Special Edition" is expected to release on June 18, 2015 for the PS4 and Xbox One. The aforementioned release date is for the region of Japan. "Devil May Cry 4: Special Edition" will also be catering to PC gamers as the release date for Microsoft Windows is slated to be June 24, 2015. Players who want to witness Lady and Trish in a different set of costumes can purchase limited edition copies of "Devil May Cry 4: Special Edition."
