Dishonored 2 release date: Game gets Nov. 11 release date, introduces Clockwork Mansion

Bethesda made a lot of fans happy during the Gamescon 2016 when it released a new trailer for the gameplay of Dishonored 2.

The trailer gave players a glimpse of how Emily Kaldwin and her dad Corvo Attano can eliminate human footmen and Clockwork soldiers.

The clip showed Emily using crossbows, guns, blades, as well as the mark of the Outsider in graphic detail how easily she could annihilate her enemies with her weapons. To add even more layers to the mayhem, Emily had to strike against the mechanical sentries multiple times before they finally went down, reported Tech Times.

The clip also introduced the Clockwork Mansion, which is the perfect set up for the action as it is equipped with many innovative features and traps to make the game more exciting.

"[T]he Clockwork Mansion is a signature themed level in which the player can trigger a series of switches to literally change the mansion around them. The walls move. The floors shift. New pathways are revealed with every alteration. Savvy assassins can even find their way through the mechanics embedded behind the walls, offering even more freedom to navigate through this complex and detailed level," Bethesda explained on their site.

Meanwhile, Bethesda has also assured that fan feedback from the first game was also incorporated into Dishonored 2 to ensure gamers will get maximum enjoyment from the upcoming release.

Among the chief complaints from the first installment was that it was too short so Harvey Smith, Arkane Studios' creative director, said that the playthroughs for the game will run for roughly 12 to 20 hours, which is almost twice as long as the first one.

Players will also have options in playing the game, a violent path, a peaceful path and a choice that is a bit of both.

The game is expected to come out on November 11 for PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4.
